Job Description
Water Hygiene Technician – Colchester
This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a Water Hygiene Technician within SOCOTEC’s Environment & Safety division. The position involves assisting the business in maintaining high standards of water hygiene and safety across client sites.
Responsibilities
- Inspect cold water storage tanks and recommend remedial works
- Clean and disinfect cold water storage tanks
- Perform thermostatic mixing valve failsafe checks and servicing
- Collect water samples
- Monitor water temperature
- Descale showerheads
Qualifications
- Experience in some or all of the tasks listed above, or readiness to receive training
- A “can do” attitude
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
Note: MOD Security Clearance is required for this role once appointed.
