About the Role
Our client, a dynamic web development agency in Liverpool , is looking for a creative and motivated Web Developer Apprentice . This is an exceptional opportunity to learn the intricacies of front-end and back-end web development, working on diverse projects for a range of clients. You will gain hands-on experience in coding, design, and project management, supported by a team of experienced developers. This apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to build responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications, contributing to a vibrant digital landscape in Merseyside .
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of new website features and functionalities using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work on back-end development tasks using languages such as Python, PHP, or Node.js.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure optimal user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) implementation.
- Test and debug websites and web applications to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
- Assist in maintaining and updating existing websites and content management systems.
Requirements
- A strong passion for web development and technology.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
- Familiarity with at least one back-end programming language is a plus.
- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.
- Must be eligible for an apprenticeship and have the right to work in the UK.
