Web Developer (Frontend)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement user-facing features using modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate server-side logic with the frontend.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and participate actively in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring a smooth and error-free user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and best practices to enhance development processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of web projects.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team in our Southampton office.
