About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Web Developer (Full Stack) to join their technology team, working from their Stoke-on-Trent office. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications. You will work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web solutions. We seek an individual passionate about creating robust and efficient web experiences, contributing to the continuous improvement of our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement user-facing features using modern front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks like React or Angular).
- Build and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs using back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Python/Django, Node.js/Express, PHP/Laravel).
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, participating in code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong experience with back-end development languages, frameworks, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
