£38,305 Salary, Day Shift, Monday to Thursday
Response Personnel is recruiting Welders and Fabricators / TIG Welders on behalf of a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Dunstable. These are full time, permanent positions offered on either a day shift or night shift, with a four-day working week and excellent overtime opportunities.
Shift Pattern & Hours
Four day week: Monday to Thursday Day shift: 6.00am - 3.45pm or 7.00am - 4.45pm Contracted hours: 37 hours, Monday to Thursday Overtime generally available Friday and Saturday, paid at x1.5Salary & Benefits

Production of ducting components using various metals including stainless steel, Titanium and Inconel TIG welding experience Ability to operate a turntable controlled with a foot pedal, and to operate a welding chamber (Glove Box) Ability to obtain and maintain approval stamps Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Previous experience within the Aerospace industry is desirableScreening Questions
Do you have experience working with ducting? Can you read and understand engineering drawings, and are you comfortable working with hand tools (snips, hammers, abrasive pads, etc.)? Materials include - Inconel, Stainless Steel and Titanium before? Recent TIG welding experience, and have you TIG welded Stainless Steel, Titanium and/or nickel alloy tubes with around a 0.71mm wall thickness and 6.35mm diameter? Are you comfortable using a foot controller while TIG welding? Do you have Aerospace Experience? Have you used a turntable when TIG welding before?
