About the role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Welder to join a team in Bridlington. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder looking for their next role, as well as candidates with relevant welding experience who are looking to develop their skills further.
As a Welder, you will be responsible for carrying out welding work to a high standard, following specifications and maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety. The role would suit someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works well as part of a team and can work accurately and consistently.
The successful Welder will have practical welding experience and be comfortable working in a hands on environment. Pay for the Welder position will be judged on experience and relevant skills.
Key responsibilities
• Carry out welding work to the required standard and specification
• Read and follow welding instructions and relevant drawings where required
• Ensure completed work meets expected quality standards
• Inspect welded components and identify any defects or issues
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production requirements
• Use welding equipment safely and responsibly
Skills and experience required
Essential:
• Previous experience working as a Welder
• Practical welding experience and a good understanding of welding processes
• Ability to produce accurate, high quality work
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work to specifications
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable:
• Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Experience working from technical drawings
