About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Window Cleaning Specialist to join their team in Reading . This role involves cleaning the exterior and interior of commercial and residential buildings, ensuring impeccable clarity and finish. You will be responsible for operating various cleaning methods, including reach and wash systems and abseiling techniques where required, always prioritizing safety and efficiency. This position requires a professional who takes pride in their work and can deliver exceptional results at height.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean windows and building facades using a variety of methods, including water-fed poles, squeegees, and potentially cradles or abseiling equipment.
• Ensure a high standard of finish, removing dirt, grime, and water spots.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, particularly concerning working at height.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Manage cleaning schedules and respond to client requests in a timely manner.
• Perform basic maintenance on cleaning equipment and report any issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a professional window cleaner, with a strong understanding of safety procedures.
• Relevant certifications for working at height (e.g., IPAF, IRATA qualifications desirable).
• Proficiency in using various window cleaning equipment and techniques.
• Excellent physical condition and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a spotless finish.
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
