About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Wireless Network Specialist to join their dynamic team based in Liverpool . You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust wireless network solutions that support our client's diverse operations. You will ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of wireless infrastructure, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the development of next-generation wireless technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy wireless networks, including Wi-Fi, cellular, and other wireless communication systems.
- Monitor wireless network performance, conduct site surveys, and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and manage wireless security protocols and measures to protect network integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex wireless network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate wireless solutions with existing network infrastructure.
- Stay current with emerging wireless technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Wireless Network Specialist or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Wi-Fi standards (802.11ac/ax), wireless security protocols (WPA2/3), and RF principles.
- Experience with wireless network management systems and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with cellular technologies (4G/5G) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications such as CWNA, CCNA Wireless are highly desirable.
