Workday People Systems Manager | East of England - Hybrid
We are recruiting for an experienced Workday People Systems Manager to join a leading organisation in the East of England.
This is a hands‑on management role combining Workday delivery, system optimisation, service management and team leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the continued development, stability and performance of the Workday platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Workday People Systems function
- Provide hands‑on support across Workday HCM configuration and optimisation
- Oversee Workday support, incidents, service requests and change
- Lead Workday configuration, enhancements and implementation activity
- Ensure effective Workday Security and Data Governance
- Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of Workday processes
- Lead, mentor and develop the Workday team
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, IT and wider business stakeholders
Key Requirements
- 5+ years' hands‑on Workday experience
- Strong Workday HCM background
- Proven Workday configuration and implementation experience
- Strong knowledge of Workday Security and Data Governance
- Experience managing Workday support, incidents and change
- Previous experience leading and developing Workday teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to combine hands‑on Workday expertise with people management
