Location: Porton Down, Salisbury
Salary: £450-£620 per day | Inside IR35
Length: 6 Month FTC
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Strategic Workforce Planning & People Analytics Lead on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead development, maintenance and annual publication of Strategic Workforce Plan. Develop workforce supply and demand forecasts. Undertake workforce capability assessments and strategic workforce risk analysis. Conduct scenario planning and workforce modelling activities. Present workforce planning recommendations to executive stakeholders. Support workforce prioritisation and workforce investment decisions. People analytics and workforce insight. Lead the company’s people analytics and workforce insight capability. Produce workforce dashboards, reports and analytical products. Deliver workforce forecasting, trend analysis and workforce research. Support evidence-based workforce planning and organisational decision-making. Improve workforce data quality and reporting standards. Coordinate implementation and embedding of the Resource Management Operating Model (RMOM). Develop governance arrangements, processes and operating procedures. Support workforce planning maturity and organisational adoption. Manage implementation risks, actions and dependencies. Workforce governance and capability development. Coordinate quarterly workforce planning steering groups. Maintain Workforce Establishment governance arrangements. Develop workforce interventions arising from workforce planning outputs. Support workforce capability development priorities and implementation activities. Provide specialist advice to senior stakeholders. Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Finance or any related fields (i.e. Mathematics, Engineering), or equivalent practical experience. Significant experience leading Strategic Workforce Planning within a complex organisation. Experience developing workforce strategies, workforce supply and demand models and workforce forecasts. Strong people analytics capability, including workforce insight, dashboard development, trend analysis and reporting. Experience conducting workforce capability assessments and workforce risk analysis. Experience developing evidence-based recommendations for senior leaders and executive-level stakeholders. Experience implementing workforce operating models, organisational change initiatives or workforce transformation programmes. Strong governance, stakeholder management and facilitation skills. Experience establishing and maintaining governance forums and operating procedures. Ability to translate workforce data into practical interventions and strategic workforce decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working across HR, workforce capability, organisational development and transformation environments. Ability to work independently and provide specialist subject matter expertise. A demonstrable ability to link strategic goals with operational and financial information in order to facilitate big picture decision-making. Ability to carry out multiple variable analysis, regression analysis, factor analysis and thematic analysis. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to distil and present information. Proven experience of utilising Microsoft Excel(formulas, pivots, macros etc). Project management experience with multiple stakeholders prioritising and delegating projects/tasks. Demonstrable experience in analysing complex data and quality assuring findings. An in-depth understanding of the employee lifecycle in an organisation, and how indicators translate the overall health of the organisation. POWER BI would be desirable
