Workplace Coordinator - Reading - Temporary (Immediate Start)
Location: Reading
Hourly Pay Rate: £19.53p/h Via Umbrella
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Workplace Coordinator to help create a welcoming, efficient and well-run workplace for our employees, clients and visitors based in Reading. You’ll be at the heart of the day-to-day office experience, coordinating facilities, suppliers, events and workplace services while ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day running of the workplace and office facilities.
* Welcome visitors and provide a professional, friendly first impression.
* Coordinate office supplies, equipment, deliveries and maintenance.
* Liaise with landlords, contractors, suppliers and building management.
* Organise workplace events, meetings and team activities.
* Support health & safety, fire safety and workplace compliance processes.
* Monitor office standards and proactively resolve any issues.
* Manage facilities-related invoices, purchase orders and budgets where required.
* Support onboarding and offboarding by coordinating workplace requirements.
* Help create an engaging, inclusive and enjoyable office environment.
* Identify opportunities to improve workplace processes, efficiency and employee experience.
Key Requirements:
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Friendly, approachable and confident working with people at all levels.
* Proactive and able to spot and solve problems before they become issues.
* Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* A clear and confident communicator.
* Practical, hands-on and willing to get involved.
* Confident managing external suppliers and contractors.
* Experienced in a workplace, office management, facilities or coordination role.
