Job Description
We're looking for a Works Foreman to join our Yorkshire Water Framework
Location: East Riding of Yorkshire
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Working on the AMP8 framework for Yorkshire Water, you'll oversee on-site operations and ensure the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of construction activities. You'll be the key link between site teams, subcontractors, and senior management, ensuring that works are delivered to specification, quality standards, and programme requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects while working collaboratively with talented teams across the business.
What will you be responsible for?
- Planning, coordinating, and overseeing site works to ensure safe, timely, and cost-efficient delivery in line with project specifications and programmes
- Providing health and safety leadership to operational delivery teams and ensuring compliance with all safety requirements
- Managing General Foreman, Foreman, Site Supervisors, and other resources to achieve project goals
- Maintaining effective relationships with clients and stakeholders to protect and enhance the company's reputation
- Controlling short and medium-term programmes and ensuring timely ordering and delivery of plant and equipment
What are we looking for?
- You have an HNC in a construction-related subject or Level 6 NVQ Construction Site Management
- You can demonstrate knowledge and practical application of site construction activities and management of staff, operatives, and subcontractors within regulated sectors
- You hold a Gold Supervisors or Black Managers Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card
- You have completed Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
- You enjoy working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to reach innovative solutions and build effective relationships
