Civil Works Manager Required
📍 Location: CA6 4DG 💰 Rate: £400–£440 per day 🕒 Duration: Ongoing
JML JobMatcha is currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Works Manager to join a major infrastructure project based in the CA6 4DG area.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable contractor on a large-scale civils scheme.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating day-to-day site operations
- Overseeing subcontractors, site teams, and supervisors
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards
- Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Liaising with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders
Requirements
- Black CSCS Managers Card – Essential
- SMSTS – Essential
- Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Works Manager on civils projects
- Proven track record delivering civil engineering and infrastructure works
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Excellent understanding of health & safety procedures and site management
