Workshop Engineer

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000, plus days‑based pay, training, overtime, and benefits.

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire. Commutable from Cirencester, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Yate, Bristol, Dursley, Thornbury, Chippenham, or Swindon.

About the Role

We are a global leader supplying specialist equipment to the aerospace sector. This role is expanding and offers stable, permanent employment with multi‑skilled training.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, build, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic equipment, including heavy plant, vehicles, and similar products.
• Conduct mechanical and hydraulic tests and quality checks.
• Work Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, in a purpose‑built workshop environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Mechanical fitter, assembler, or technician.
• Experience with vehicles, plant, or hydraulic systems.
• Ability to commute to Stroud.
