Workshop Engineer
Location: Hull
Salary: £13.50 - £15.50 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:30 (07:00 Monday start)

We are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join our client's Operations team.
This is a hands-on role building and testing complete pumping stations, working with GRP tanks, ductile iron/uPVC pipework, valves, pumps, booster sets, control panels and PLCs.
Key Responsibilities
Build and test pumping stations and pump assemblies.
Install pipework, valves and control panels.
Work from mechanical and electrical drawings.
Wire control panels and programme PLCs.
Carry out pressure testing and quality checks.
Receive and prepare equipment and materials.
Complete job sheets and maintain a safe, organised workshop.
About You
Previous workshop/mechanical/electrical engineering experience.
Able to read technical drawings.
Experience with pumps, pipework or control panels.
PLC experience desirable.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Must drive
Reliable, practical and able to work independently.
