Job Title: Workshop Forklift Engineer
Salary: £22.00ph - £25.10ph
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Location: Aberdeen
Benefits/Perks: Overtime paid at 1.5x, 30 days holiday, Pension Scheme
About your new company:
My client is a trusted family-run Material Handling Specialist. Due to continued growth in the North-east of Scotland, they are seeking an experienced Forklift Engineer to join their team based within Aberdeen.
About your new Forklift Engineer role:
- Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and safety inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system faults.
- Build strong, professional relationships with our diverse client base while working safely-on site.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Recent and relevant experience in a similar role within the Material Handling industry i.e. Forklift Engineer, Fork truck Engineer or hold a Forklift qualification
- Excellent knowledge of Pneumatics + control systems
- Proven experience repairing and servicing gas, diesel and electric Forklifts
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and diagnostics abilities
