About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Workshop Supervisor to lead their automotive repair facility in Stoke-on-Trent . In this vital role, you will oversee daily workshop operations, manage a team of technicians, and ensure the efficient and high-quality delivery of vehicle maintenance and repair services. You will play a key part in maintaining productivity, upholding safety standards, and fostering a positive team culture. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct a team of automotive technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Ensure all repair and maintenance work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards .
- Manage workshop resources, including tools, equipment, and inventory, ensuring optimal utilization.
- Implement and enforce health and safety procedures within the workshop environment.
- Liaise with the service reception team to ensure smooth customer service delivery and effective communication.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development for workshop staff.
Requirements
- Significant experience as an Automotive Technician , with proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle mechanics, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in managing workshop operations and staff.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety .
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
