X6 HGV Class 1 Weekend Drivers

Our client based in Sittingbourne & Maidstone are currently looking for X6 part time weekend Class 1 Drivers. Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap. The role will entail:

• Refrigerated distribution across a variety of locations.
• Delivering to RDCs and collections to and from farms.
• The shifts are on average 10 to 12 hours long.
• Some flexibility for start times as they may vairy.
• Mainly a driving role with minimal handling of the load. A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Full Class 1 Driving licence (minimum of 1 year Class 1 experience).
• Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.
• No more than 6 points or have the following endorsement codes showing (DD or DR).
• Compliant to all rules and regulations within LGV driving.
• Good roadcraft/ Geographical knowledge. Shifts are available over a seven day period Sunday to Saturday with the following shifts bands:
• Morning start times 01.00
• 11.00 hours Afternoon start times hours. Night shift start times 19.00 hours to midnight Our client offers long term work between Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday. All candidates are required to pass our clients assessment prior to commencing which includes a written and practical driving test. (2-3-hour assessments are being held between Monday to Friday on days/ nights) Pay Rates:
• Days
• £17.12 p.h. Monday to Friday.
• Nights
• £18.25 p.h. Monday to Friday.
• Saturday Day £20.50 p.h./ Night £21.22 p.h.
