The Best Connection are delighted to be recruiting a Yard Operative on behalf of our long-established and reputable client based in Forest Row . This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and hardworking team.
Location: Forest Row
Industry: Construction
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm
Pay: £29,000 to £34,000 depending on experience.
Responsibilities of the Yard Operative:
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and providing great service.
- Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
- Using equipment to split and prepare materials as required.
- Operating machinery and maintaining a tidy, organised yard.
Requirements of the Yard Operative:
- Previous experience in a yard or similar environment (preferred but not essential).
- Counterbalance forklift licence is ideal.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid driving licence.
