Yard Person

Location: Willand

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Person to join our clients team.

The role will involve keeping the yard organised, carrying out general yard duties and assisting with day-to-day operations. You will be required to use a range of hand tools, so a practical, hands-on approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• General yard duties and keeping the yard clean and organised
• Using hand tools safely and effectively
• Loading, unloading and moving materials when required
• Assisting with general maintenance and site duties
• Following health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team while also being able to work independently

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence is essential due to the location of the yard
• Previous yard, labouring, groundwork or similar experience is desirable
• Comfortable using hand tools
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good attention to health and safety
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
• Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Salary: £12.71-£15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
