A well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in Ealing Broadway is seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team from January 2027 until July 2027, with the possibility of the role extending beyond the initial contract.

The successful candidate will:
Teach a Year 1 class from January 2027 Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum Deliver high-quality phonics teaching and early reading provision Support pupils' progress across reading, writing, mathematics, and the wider curriculum Use assessment effectively to identify next steps in learning Work collaboratively with the parallel Year 1 teacher and wider KS1 team Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleaguesRequirements
The school is looking for a teacher who:
Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Has experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1 Has a secure understanding of phonics and the KS1 curriculum Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement Has strong classroom management and organisational skills Works effectively as part of a teamApplications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and strong ECTs.
Salary
Inner London M1-UPS3 Salary paid in line with experience and qualifications.
