Year 1 Class Teacher
Location: South Liverpool
Salary: £140.00 - £200 per day (Experience Dependent)
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary / Temp-to-Perm
The Opportunity: Make an Impact in Key Stage 1
Are you a motivated and enthusiastic educator ready to inspire a Year 1 class? We are working closely with a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in the Liverpool area of Liverpool to appoint a dedicated KS1 Class Teacher.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, forward-thinking team during a crucial stage of children's development. You will take full responsibility for the class, fostering a safe and engaging environment where high standards of learning are met with creativity and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, with a strong focus on core subjects including Reading, Writing, and Maths.
- Manage all aspects of teaching, from initial lesson planning and delivery to final assessment and reporting.
- Implement creative and inclusive teaching strategies that meet the unique needs of every learner in the classroom.
- Contribute to the school's assessment and implementation strategies, tracking pupil progress to ensure high standards of achievement.
- Work within a well-supported and collaborative setting, contributing positively to the wider school life and community ethos.
What We're Looking For
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Proven classroom experience within Key Stage 1, with an understanding of pupil progress tracking and assessment expectations.
- A genuine commitment to inclusive teaching and a desire to make a real difference in the community.
- A reliable, reflective practitioner committed to professional growth and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service and eligibility to work in the UK.
