Year 2 Teacher - Bromsgrove

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming primary school in the Bromsgrove area who are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for a confident teacher who enjoys working within KS1 and can create a positive, engaging classroom environment where pupils feel supported and encouraged to achieve.

About the Role

The successful Year 2 Teacher will:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum

Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development

Establish clear routines and maintain strong behaviour management

Use assessment to monitor progress and adapt teaching where needed

Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to support individual learning needs

Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Follow school safeguarding policies and promote pupil wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

Has QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Has experience teaching within KS1, particularly Year 2

Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum

Can confidently manage classroom behaviour and establish positive routines

Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to pupil progress

Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Has a flexible and supportive approach to teaching
