Primary Year 2 Teacher – Sutton Coldfield (Part-Time, Contract) Location: Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands Start Date: September 23rd 2026 Salary: £160.00 – £175.00 Per day (dependent on Experience) Contract Type: part-Time. Temporary About the School: A highly supportive primary school in Sutton Coldfield is looking for a Year 2 Teacher to join their Primary team. The school values a nurturing approach and provides an excellent induction programme for KS1 Teachers.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality KS1 lessons Support early literacy and numeracy development in young learners. Work closely with teaching assistants and SENCO to support children with additional needs. Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support children’s progress. Engage in professional development and training to enhance teaching skills.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a passion for Key Stage 1 education. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and phonics schemes. A patient, nurturing, and creative approach to teaching.
