We are a teaching agency working with a vibrant and diverse primary school in the Heart of Ilford who are looking for an experienced Year 2 Teacher.

About The Client:

We are working with a thriving and successful primary school in Ilford, in the London Borough of Redbridge. They believe that every child is full of potential. They are looking for a full-time Year 2 teacher for an ASAP start. As a Year 2 teacher, you would be responsible for marking and planning. The school can offer a welcoming and enthusiastic environment with a talented and dedicated staff team. If you would like to work as a Year 2 Teacher, please read on! Please note ECTs are not being considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities for the Year 2 teacher:

• Ability to work successfully as part of a team as a Year 2 Teacher

• Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils

• Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards

• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback accordingly.

• Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school as a Year 2 Teacher.

Required Skills and Qualifications for the Year 2 teacher:

• QTS

• Strong behaviour management

• Good understanding of the National Curriculum

• Prior experience teaching as a Year 2 teacher

• UK classroom-based experience
