Year 3 Teacher

Are you a dedicated and experienced Key Stage Two Teacher looking for a part-time role? A welcoming and supportive Primary School in Malvern is seeking a confident Year 3 Class Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis,as soon as possible. This is a fixed-term contract initially and offers the opportunity to work in a shared teaching role, with planning responsibilities included. This role is ideal for an experienced Year 3 Teacher who can confidently plan and deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and support pupils through this important stage of their education. The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher who can create an inclusive learning environment where all children can succeed and reach their full potential.

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will take responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing learning across your three teaching days, working closely with the job-share teacher and wider school team to ensure continuity and consistency for pupils.

As a Year 3 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Taking responsibility for teaching a Year 3 class from Wednesday to Friday each week.
• Working collaboratively with the class teacher to ensure effective continuity of learning.
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress.
• Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Working closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to support pupil development.
• Attending relevant staff meetings and contributing to the wider school community.
• Supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing, social development, and academic progress.

To be successful in this Year 3 Teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience teaching within Key Stage Two.
• A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A patient, flexible, and professional approach.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
