Year 4 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Prenton

Location: Prenton, Wirral
Start Date: Monday 21st September 2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term until July 2027
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Pay: 95- 110 per day - Depending on qualifications & experience

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with SEND at a welcoming primary school in Prenton .

The successful candidate will provide consistent support throughout the school day, helping the pupil access learning, develop confidence and build independence.

The role will involve:

• Providing 1:1 SEND support
• Supporting access to the curriculum
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo
• Supporting the pupil's social and emotional development

We're looking for someone who is patient, nurturing, reliable and passionate about supporting children with additional needs .

Previous SEND experience is desirable, but relevant experience working with children will also be considered.

The role runs until December 2026, with the possibility of extension.
