Year in Industry: Computer Scientist – HPC & Data Science

Atomic Weapons Establishment invites applications for a Year in Industry placement in 2027. You will work on one or two technical areas, contributing to modelling, HPC, data science and software development within a multidisciplinary team.

We welcome students in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or other numerate STEM disciplines who are on track for a 2:2 or equivalent. Starts August 2027 with an induction date to be confirmed.
