About the Role
Our client is seeking a passionate and certified Yoga Instructor to lead dynamic and restorative classes at their wellness studio in Oxford . You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging yoga sessions suitable for a range of abilities, fostering a calm, supportive, and inspiring environment for practitioners. This role is perfect for individuals dedicated to promoting holistic well-being through the practice of yoga, helping clients enhance their physical strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of yoga philosophy and techniques, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills to connect with the studio community and guide them on their wellness journey, contributing to a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality yoga classes for various levels and styles.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.
- Provide clear instruction, modifications, and adjustments to students as needed.
- Maintain a deep understanding of yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation.
- Build strong relationships with students, encouraging regular attendance and engagement.
- Uphold the studio's standards for professionalism and service excellence.
Requirements
- Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT 200 or equivalent) with a minimum of 1 year teaching experience.
- In-depth knowledge of various yoga styles, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to deepen their practice.
- First Aid certification is a plus.
