Job Description
Ashberry recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Housing support candidate to work at a service in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The service is ran by a well established housing organisation that provide support for Young homeless people across the UK.
Day-to-day, you would be; Monitoring the safety/security of the building/Young people, Keeping accurate logs of any contact with the service users and the times they leave & enter the service, interacting with the Young people and ensuring they feel safe and giving them any support or advice they may need, complete any tasks given by senior members of staff or tasks that have been given on a schedule.
Service Information -
* Lone working (so must have experience in this)
* 16-18 Year olds
* Self contained flats
* Staff MUST stay on site
What is needed
* Enhanced Child & Adult DBS
* Experience working with young people
* Experience working in a housing support setting or a supported accomodation setting for homeless individuals
* Passion for helping people improve their lives and a drive to help people work towards living independantly.
* Experience Lone working in a supported accomodation setting.
Desirables
* Full UK Driving license with car
* Knowledge of the benefits system
* NVQ level 3 in health & social care
