Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging programmes and activities for young people.
- Provide mentoring, guidance, and support to young people, addressing their social, emotional, and developmental needs.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Build strong relationships with young people, parents, and relevant external agencies.
- Support the recruitment and training of youth volunteers.
- Maintain accurate records of youth engagement, progress, and programme outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience working with young people in a youth work, educational, or social care setting.
- Passion for youth development and a strong understanding of the challenges facing young people.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and group facilitation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive rapport with diverse individuals.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures is essential.
- Experience or understanding of the Nottingham youth landscape is an advantage.
