About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Youth Support Coordinator to join their dedicated team in Birmingham, West Midlands . You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging programs that address the social, emotional, and educational needs of young people in the community. Working in a hybrid capacity, you will balance vital in-person outreach with strategic remote coordination, ensuring comprehensive support is accessible and effective for all participants. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and facilitate engaging youth programs and activities, both in-person and virtually.
• Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to young individuals, addressing their personal, educational, and social challenges.
• Collaborate with local schools, community groups, and families to identify and support young people in need.
• Organize and manage outreach events and workshops, ensuring broad participation and positive impact.
• Maintain accurate records of youth engagement, progress, and outcomes, adhering to confidentiality policies.
• Assess needs and refer young people to appropriate external services and resources when necessary.

Requirements

• Experience working with young people in a formal or informal educational or support setting.
• Strong understanding of youth development principles and adolescent psychology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload, plan activities, and work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• A relevant qualification in youth work, social care, or a related field is advantageous.
