Youth Support Worker - Hybrid

About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and dedicated Youth Support Worker to join their team in Glasgow , operating under a hybrid model. You will work with young people, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for development both in community settings and remotely. This role involves a mix of direct work with youth, programme delivery, and administrative tasks, requiring flexibility and a proactive approach. You will be instrumental in empowering young individuals, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and navigate challenges within the Scotland region.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with young people in group and individual settings.
• Deliver programmes focused on life skills, education, and personal development.
• Provide advice and support on issues such as education, employment, and well-being.
• Liaise with parents, schools, and other relevant agencies.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress.

Requirements

• Experience working with young people or in a youth support role.
• Strong understanding of adolescent development and issues affecting youth.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both community-based and remote settings.
• Relevant qualifications or training in youth work or a related field are desirable.
