About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Support Worker to join their team in Brighton . This role focuses on providing guidance, support, and opportunities for young people within the community, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their potential. Key Responsibilities

• Engage with young people, building positive and trusting relationships.
• Support young people in accessing educational, recreational, and developmental opportunities.
• Provide guidance and mentoring on issues such as personal development, behaviour, and social skills.
• Organise and facilitate group activities and workshops tailored to the needs of young people.
• Assist in risk assessments and implement appropriate safety measures.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress, reporting to senior staff as required.

Requirements

• Experience working with young people or in a youth/community setting.
• Understanding of adolescent development and common challenges faced by young people.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage positively with diverse groups of young people.
• Patience, resilience, and a non-judgmental attitude.
