Key Responsibilities
- Engage with young people, building positive relationships based on trust and respect.
- Facilitate structured group activities and workshops focused on personal development, life skills, and well-being.
- Provide one-to-one support and mentoring to young individuals facing specific challenges.
- Assist in the planning and organization of recreational, educational, and social events for youth.
- Identify and signpost young people to relevant external services and support networks.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, progress, and any safeguarding concerns.
Requirements
- Experience working with young people, either in a paid or voluntary capacity.
- Passion for youth work and a genuine interest in supporting young people's development.
- Good communication and listening skills, with the ability to connect with diverse personalities.
- Understanding of safeguarding principles and procedures relating to young people.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and occasional weekends, as required by the program schedule.
