Key Responsibilities

• Engage with young people in a positive and supportive manner, building trusting relationships.
• Develop and deliver engaging group activities and one-to-one support sessions.
• Assist young people in developing life skills, social competencies, and pathways to education, employment, or training.
• Identify and respond to the needs and safeguarding concerns of young people, following established procedures.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, schools, and other agencies to provide holistic support.
• Utilize digital tools and platforms to maintain contact and deliver support remotely when appropriate.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with young people in a youth work, social care, or educational setting.
• A genuine passion for supporting youth development and positive behavioral change.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and group facilitation skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
• Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, and adapt to hybrid working demands.
