JOB PURPOSE
To contribute to the design, delivery and performance of commissioned youth training porgrammes. To ensure the
provision of an engaging learning programme within the relevant subject area. To prepare, deliver, assess and evaluate
the course to the specified standard required by the service and the Awarding Organisations. To ensure that
administrative procedures relating to learner and class delivery are completed accurately and to agreed compliance
based targets.
KEY RESULT AREAS
- To design, deliver and develop appropriate and relevant learning to promote positive progression of learners
- Plan the learning and assessment process with learners
- To recruit learners to the programme
- Induction including, meeting and greeting all learners, completing all relevant eligibility documentation delivering the structured induction session and making sure all learners have a clear understanding of the programme and future goals.
- To deliver personal development workshops
- Responsible for the delivery and successful completion of a range of agreed qualifications as per programme specification in a timely manner
- To collaborate with key stakeholders, partners, employers, training providers, and support agencies to ensure effective referral processes onto the programme
- To build and maintain positive relationships with learners on a one-to-one basis and group work, motivating and encouraging them to fulfil their potential.
- Support the Manager to embed a culture of achievement in the staff and young people who take part in the programmes ensuring high retention and to be able to access exit routes
- To manage weekly/monthly checks of all contractual performance targets including (but not exhaustive): performance, contractual, quality and compliance accurately and within agreed timescales to ensure that contract requirements are met and funding is maximised
- To manage the monitoring and completion of learner reviews and the programmes outcomes
- To be aware of and implement the Councils Equality, Health & Safety and Safeguarding policies
- Undertake other related and reasonable duties, commensurate with the salary grade and level of the post.
- To take responsibility, through the Safeguarding policy and procedures, to safeguard all learners on programme
