We are seeking a Graduate Quality Assurance Technician to join a prestigious engineering client on a permanent basis.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain all documents, both physical and electronic, in a systematic and organised manner
* Numbering, registration, distribution and tracking of change control documentation such as Technical Query, Change Request etc.
* Provide an auditable trail of incoming and outgoing documentation for projects using the company procedures and systems
* Quality check documents on formal aspects. (i.e. correct revisioning, title, numbering)
* Receive and issue documents in line with project timescales
* Reviewing/Completing and ensuring timely updating of company production data documentation
* Compilation / Collation of build pack documentation, including release certification for customer release.
* Recording of traceability and completing of checks for accompanying certification to meet customer expectations
* May occasionally assist with physical inspection activities in assembly
Key skills required:
* Degree, HND, HNC in engineering subject
* Graduates will be accepted and also graduates with some work experience will be accepted
* Must be able to obtain security clearance
The following are desirable:
* Experience using ERP or quality management systems.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001/AQAP quality management standards.
* Understanding of basic quality assurance principles and non-conformance reporting.
