Sales Support Coordinator

Our client is a well-established international manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for quality, innovation, and customer excellence. Operating across global markets, they supply specialist products to a diverse customer base and pride themselves on delivering outstanding service and support. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Sales Support Coordinator to their customer operations team.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Support professional looking to take the next step in their career. Working closely with the Pre-Sales Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy customer-focused department, supporting a team across sales administration, order processing, and customer service functions.

The position offers a blend of operational support, customer account management, team coordination, and leadership responsibilities. You will act as a senior point of contact for customer queries and deputise for the Manager when required.

Responsibilities of the Sales Support Coordinator

Support the day-to-day operations of the Sales Support and Customer Service team.
Act as a senior point of contact for customer enquiries and escalations.
Process customer orders, quotations, and related documentation accurately and efficiently.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Monitor team performance against KPIs and service standards.
Assist with workload planning, resource allocation, and team coordination.
Provide support and guidance to team members across sales administration and order processing functions.
Deputise for the Manager during periods of absence.
Coordinate with internal departments including Sales, Production, and Logistics to ensure customer requirements are met.
Support shipping and order fulfilment activities across UK and European markets.Requirements of the Sales Support Coordinator

Previous experience within Sales Administration, Customer Service, Sales Support, or Customer Operations.
Ability to step into management responsibilities when required.
Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience handling customer escalations and resolving complex issues.
