Commercial Account Manager

Location: Hybrid – Hampshire / Dorset (Driving essential)

Hours: Monday to Friday between 8:30 – 5:00 (Early finish on Friday - NO WEEKENDS)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum + Uncapped Bonus Potential

This dynamic role offers the perfect balance between nurturing an established client portfolio and proactively prospecting for new business. Acting as a trusted partner, you will engage key decision-makers over the phone and via email to secure our client as their preferred commercial supplier.

Key Responsibilities

* Portfolio Management: Overseeing a dedicated portfolio of corporate accounts, maintaining regular contact to maximize customer retention and account satisfaction.

* Account Growth: Making targeted outbound calls to identify new departments, operational sites, and key contacts within your account base to secure incremental sales.

* Preferred Supplier Status: Building strong, multi-level relationships within client organisations to position the company as their primary, long-term supplier.

* Target Delivery: Consistently working toward and exceeding monthly revenue and activity targets.

* Cross-Department Liaison: Collaborating closely with internal operations, supply chain, and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

* CRM Administration: Maintaining accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date client records and pipeline sales data within the CRM.

What We Are Looking For

* Sales & Account Management Experience: Proven track record in a fast-paced, target-driven outbound sales, telesales, or account management environment.

* Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and consultative closing skills with the confidence to discuss product offerings with business clients.

* Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish trust, rapport, and long-term credibility over the telephone.

* Drive & Resilience: High self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic with a desire to consistently outperform targets.

* Technical Literacy: Proficient in standard business systems, Microsoft Office, and database/CRM platforms.
