We are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join our Glasgow branch.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional to become part of a highly regarded technical business operating across a diverse range of industries. Working closely with customers and internal departments, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, processing enquiries, generating quotations, and ensuring customer requirements are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, and be committed to delivering outstanding customer service whilst identifying opportunities to support sales growth.
Essential Experience, Qualifications and Competencies
* Previous experience within an internal sales, customer service, account management or commercial environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Good organisational and workload planning skills.
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
* Proactive approach with the ability to use initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
* Educated to Standard Grade level (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
Desirable Experience, Qualifications and Competencies
* Experience working within an engineering, industrial, manufacturing, oil and gas, or technical product environment.
* Knowledge of ERP systems.
* S/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Customer Service.
* Familiarity with Hydrasun products and services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Responding to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
* Preparing and issuing quotations in accordance with company pricing structures and customer agreements.
* Processing customer orders through the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Reviewing orders to ensure compliance with quotations and agreed delivery commitments.
* Liaising with customers regarding order progress, delivery schedules and product availability.
* Building strong customer relationships and delivering a high standard of customer care.
* Identifying opportunities to promote additional products, services and solutions.
* Working closely with internal departments including Purchasing, Stores, Engineering, Workshop, Dispatch and Accounts to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Supporting the achievement of branch and departmental objectives.
* Adhering to Hydrasun's Quality and HSE Management Systems and procedures.
