JOB TITLE: Sales Administrator

PERKS: 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays with an increase through service, working for a 'family feel' office, food and refreshments for the office, staff socials and team building events.

COMPANY: Wholesaler

CONTRACT: Permanent

HOURS: 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday

START: ASAP

SALARY: £27,000 - £30,000pa

LOCATION: Chandlers Ford

THE ROLE:

Raise purchase orders with suppliers and monitor outstanding orders to ensure timely delivery.
Review and verify supplier order acknowledgements against purchase orders issued.
Check delivery documentation against orders and resolve any discrepancies.
Provide customers with regular updates on outstanding items and delivery schedules.
Prepare dispatch notes for warehouse operations and process invoices once goods are ready for collection.
Produce and review shipping documentation required for customer orders and international exports.
Obtain transport quotations and coordinate shipments via sea, air, and road freight.
Process pro-forma invoices, verify details against purchase orders, and liaise with relevant parties regarding payment progress.
Handle incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries appropriately.
Maintain stock records and order office supplies when required.
Update and maintain commodity code databases.
Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure inventory records remain accurate and up to date.
Provide general administrative support and undertake ad hoc duties as required.EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in an administration and shipping/logistics role is essential.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
