Clinical Team Manager

Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire
Salary: £49,387 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

Brainkind is looking for an experienced Clinical Team Manager to join our specialist neurological care centre, Stagenhoe, in Hertfordshire.

You will lead a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for adults with brain injuries and neurological conditions. You will support clinical excellence, staff development, service improvement and the smooth day-to-day running of the service.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a team of nurses and care staff.

* Ensure high standards of assessment, care planning and clinical delivery.

* Manage staffing levels and duty rotas to maintain safe care.

* Support and supervise clinical staff, including performance management and development.

* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare professionals.

* Promote safeguarding, clinical governance and best practice.

* Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives and service development.

* Manage risk and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

About You

* Registered Nurse with post-registration clinical experience.

* Proven experience managing and leading clinical teams.

* Strong understanding of clinical governance and healthcare legislation.

* Experience supporting change and service improvement.

* Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.

* Ability to mentor, coach and develop others.

* Competent IT skills.
