Basic salary of £28,000–£30,000 depending on experience

Must have’s

* Minimum of 2 years’ telesales or new business sales experience

* Strong and confident telephone manner

* Proven experience working towards sales targets and KPIs

* Self-motivated, driven and commercially focused approach

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* Comfortable making proactive outbound calls

* Good organisation and attention to detail

* Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritise workloads

* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and CRM systems

* Stable and consistent employment history

* Ambitious attitude with a genuine desire to progress within sales

Nice to have’s

* Previous B2B sales experience

* Experience following up and converting quotations

* Experience using Sage CRM or similar systems

* Experience within facilities management, electrical compliance, testing or a related commercial service environment

So, what will you be doing?

* Making proactive outbound calls to existing and prospective customers

* Following up quotations and outstanding opportunities to maximise conversion

* Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships

* Identifying additional sales opportunities and promoting relevant services

* Responding to inbound sales enquiries professionally and promptly

* Managing a personal pipeline of sales opportunities

* Re-engaging previous, dormant and lapsed customers

* Preparing accurate quotations where required

* Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity information within the CRM

* Working consistently towards agreed sales targets, activity levels and KPIs

* Working closely with Business Development Managers and the wider sales team

* Participating in regular sales meetings, reviews and performance discussions

* Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, conversion rates and customer satisfaction

* Taking ownership of individual performance while contributing to wider team results

Helpful extras

The role offers a clear progression pathway from Internal Telesales Executive into Business Development and potentially Account Management

Progression is based on performance, achievement of KPIs, commercial development and increased responsibility

Regular coaching and support will be provided to help you achieve agreed objectives

Bonus potential ranges from approximately £250 per month for Sales Executives to around £1,000 per month for Business Development Managers, with higher earnings possible for exceptional performance
