This policy explains how CV-BRIDGE LTD uses cookies and similar browser storage on CV-Bridge. It covers cookies, local storage and session storage. For details of how we handle personal data, please read our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small files a website can save in your browser. Local storage can remain between visits; session storage normally lasts for a browser session. Some of these technologies support requested features, while optional analytics storage is used only after you accept it.
1. Types of cookies and storage we use
User Interface Elements: use your current display settings and can read an existing theme cookie; this version does not set that cookie.
Traffic monitoring: measure page visits and actions so we can understand and improve the site.
User Identification and preferences: keep requested account features working and remember your cookie choice.
Persistent storage: retain selected account, consent and consented analytics information between visits.
Third party cookies: may be used by Google sign-in, Google Analytics after consent, or Cloudflare security services as described below.
2. Generic cookie types
Strictly necessary: support services you request, such as signing in, security and remembering your cookie decision.
Optional analytics: help us understand visits across sessions; our optional identifiers and Google Analytics require your acceptance.
Session and persistent: session items usually end with the browser session, while persistent items remain until their expiry or removal.
First party and third party: first-party items use the CV-Bridge domain; third-party items belong to another provider, such as Google.
3. CV-Bridge-specific cookies and browser storage
These items support the site or features you choose to use and can remain when you reject optional cookies.
Essential cookies and storage
Cookie or storage key
Purpose
How long it is used
AuthToken (cookie)
Keeps a signed-in account available for requested account and application features.
Set when you sign in; the cookie is set for seven days, although the access token can expire sooner.
g_state (cookie)
Supports the Google sign-in control and its sign-in state.
Managed by Google Identity Services; it may remain until expiry or until you clear browser cookies.
reduxState (local storage)
Retains sign-in state, including authentication tokens and basic account details, between visits.
Until you sign out or clear site data; individual tokens have their own expiry times.
cookie_consent_status (local storage)
Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies and when you made that choice.
We ask again after 180 days; the stored choice may remain until it is replaced or site data is cleared.
Prevents the same application choices being shown twice during registration and application.
Used only if read within five minutes and removed when read, or when the browser session ends.
The following items are saved only after you accept optional cookies:
Optional analytics cookies and storage
Cookie or storage key
Purpose
How long it is used
cvbridge.analytics.visitorId (local storage)
Recognises a returning browser for CV-Bridge's own site measurement.
Until you withdraw consent or clear site data.
cvbridge.analytics.utmContext (local storage)
Remembers campaign source, medium and campaign details for attribution.
Attribution is used for up to 30 days after it is saved; the browser entry may remain until consent is withdrawn or site data is cleared.
cvbridge.analytics.sessionId (session storage)
Connects activity within a browser session for CV-Bridge's own measurement.
Until the browser session ends or you withdraw consent.
cvbridge.analytics.isHuman (session storage)
Remembers that a visitor interacted with the site during this session.
Until the browser session ends or you withdraw consent.
_ga and _ga_LFYRX0QWQC (cookies)
Google Analytics distinguishes visitors and maintains session information after you accept optional cookies.
Google's default is two years, subject to browser limits and renewal on later visits; withdrawing consent stops Google Analytics and clears accessible analytics cookies.
4. Third-party services
Google Analytics: after acceptance, Google Analytics may set the first-party _ga cookies listed above on the CV-Bridge domain. Google provides the analytics service. See Google's GA4 cookie information.
Google sign-in: the Google sign-in option is available regardless of your optional analytics choice. Google Identity Services loads to provide this option and may use a g_state cookie on the CV-Bridge domain for sign-in state. Your browser may also show Google account cookies on google.com or accounts.google.com, such as ACCOUNT_CHOOSER, NID, SID, __Host-* and __Secure-*. Those are controlled by Google and may already be present from using Google elsewhere; their purposes and lifetimes vary. See Google's cookie information.
Cloudflare security: if a security challenge applies, Cloudflare may set cf_clearance on the CV-Bridge domain to remember that a challenge was passed. Its duration depends on the challenge configuration. See Cloudflare's cookie information.
Cookies shown in your browser for a third-party domain are not necessarily set by visiting CV-Bridge. External job sites you choose to visit also have their own cookie policies.
5. When analytics starts
Until you accept optional cookies and storage, CV-Bridge does not send internal analytics requests or load Google Analytics. This includes page views, job redirects, applications, CV tool events, engagement and human-interaction events. We do not create analytics visitor or session identifiers or save campaign attribution before you accept.
When you accept, measurement begins with the page you are viewing and later activity; earlier visits and actions are not recorded retrospectively. Analytics requests may include page and referring URLs (including query strings), device and browser details, visitor and session identifiers, and the action taken. The server also receives the request's IP address, and signed-in requests may include an account authentication token. Rejecting or withdrawing consent stops future internal analytics requests and Google Analytics. Necessary account, security and cookie-choice storage remains available. Google sign-in remains available; Google-domain cookies already in your browser remain under Google's control.
6. Managing your choice
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookie preferences link in the footer or the button below. If you withdraw acceptance, we stop internal tracking and Google Analytics and clear our optional analytics storage and accessible analytics cookies. Necessary storage remains available so requested features continue to work.
You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser. Clearing essential account data may sign you out. Google-domain cookies are managed through Google or your browser rather than CV-Bridge's cookie choice.
7. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when our services or the technologies we use change. We will publish the revised date above. For questions about this policy or your personal data, contact [email protected].
