Account Director - Fully Remote

Account Director, Fully Remote | UK Based | up to £100,000 base salary + Bonus (typically @£20K) + £6,000 Car Allowance + Benefits

Are you ready to turn major client relationships into outstanding commercial success?

Overview of the Account Director:

What if your next role gave you the opportunity to take ownership of strategic client accounts, shape long-term growth strategies, influence senior decision-makers and make a measurable impact on business performance — all while working fully remotely?

We're looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Account Director who knows how to build powerful client relationships, unlock untapped revenue opportunities and turn customer partnerships into long-term, profitable growth.

This is an opportunity for an accomplished account leader who combines strategic thinking with commercial sharpness, thrives on accountability and understands that exceptional account management is about far more than keeping clients happy. It's about making them more successful, strengthening partnerships and creating new opportunities for growth.

If you're someone who sees potential where others see routine, takes ownership rather than waiting for direction, and has the confidence to influence at board level, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

The opportunity: Make your impact count

You'll take ownership of a portfolio of strategic client accounts, with responsibility for financial performance, customer satisfaction, retention and growth.

You'll become the senior relationship lead for your clients, developing trusted partnerships with executive stakeholders while identifying opportunities to expand services, strengthen commercial agreements and deliver greater value.

You'll also play a pivotal role in helping clients embrace the next generation of digital communications, supporting the transition from traditional print-based solutions towards innovative digital platforms and SaaS-based services.

This isn't a role for someone who simply manages the status quo. It's for someone who challenges it, spots opportunities and turns ambition into measurable results.

Work collaboratively with Digital and Technical teams to develop compelling transformation roadmaps.

Help clients understand the commercial and operational benefits of adopting new solutions.

Turn emerging opportunities into practical plans that deliver value for both the client and the business.

Monitor contractual service levels, operational KPIs and account performance.

Identify inefficiencies and lead cross-functional improvement initiatives.

Ensure complaints and service issues are properly managed through to resolution.

Use data and insight to identify trends, prioritise actions and make better commercial decisions.
