Account Manager, Facilities Management
Location: Birmingham Reporting to: Account Director

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead facilities management delivery for an excellent Birmingham estate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused FM professional who enjoys leading multidisciplinary teams, building strong customer relationships and continuously improving service delivery.
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the account, ensuring that hard and soft services are delivered safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard. Working closely with the customer, internal stakeholders and supply-chain partners, you will create a collaborative environment in which operational excellence and innovation can thrive.
What you'll be doing
As Account Manager, you will:
Lead the day-to-day delivery of hard services and the management of soft-service subcontractors. Coordinate site teams and supply-chain partners to achieve contractual objectives and service standards. Build trusted customer relationships through regular progress meetings, site visits and proactive communication. Take accountability for the account P&L, protecting agreed margins and identifying opportunities for commercial growth. Lead and develop a diverse team of soft-services professionals, M&E engineers and contract support colleagues. Support the development of standard operating procedures, emergency arrangements and contingency plans. Promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure appropriate policies and working practices are regularly reviewed. Identify opportunities to introduce new services, improve account performance and increase profitability. Support the long-term retention and successful renewal of the contract.
What we're looking for
You will bring:
Proven experience in a similar Account Manager or Contract Manager role. Strong experience within the facilities management industry. Excellent commercial awareness, with demonstrable experience of managing a P&L. The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and create a high-performance culture. Strong communication, stakeholder-management and customer-relationship skills. A proactive approach to operational improvement, innovation and account development.Experience managing a national or mobile portfolio would be advantageous. A recognised health and safety qualification, such as NEBOSH or IOSH, would also be desirable.
