Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
- Perform data analysis to support actuarial investigations and provide clear interpretations of results.
- Contribute to the preparation of regulatory and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support senior actuaries in evaluating the financial impact of new products, business initiatives, and market changes.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to provide actuarial expertise and insights.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of actuarial standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Progress towards or completion of actuarial qualifications (e.g., FIA, FSA).
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical software and modeling techniques.
- Experience with Excel, and programming languages like Python or R is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-actuarial audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
