Location: Hove - Full Time Onsite Contract: Temp 3 months

Hours: Part-time 12 hours a week over 3 days Salary: £14p/h

Parish Administrator

We are seeking an organised, professional and proactive Administrator to provide comprehensive support within a busy and community-focused organisation. This is a varied role requiring excellent administrative, communication and organisational skills, with responsibility for supporting daily operations, record management and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional administrative and secretarial support, managing correspondence, email enquiries, telephone calls and appointment scheduling. Maintain accurate records, databases, filing systems and statutory registers, ensuring all information is current, organised and compliant. Coordinate diary management and bookings, including appointments, events, ceremonies and external contractor visits. Support financial administration, including maintaining financial records, processing supplier payments, monitoring expenditure and preparing regular returns and reports. Produce and distribute internal communications, newsletters and documentation, ensuring information is accurate and issued in a timely manner. Liaise with a range of stakeholders including members of the community, suppliers, contractors and external agencies, providing a professional and welcoming point of contact. Assist with compliance and governance activities, including health and safety administration, risk assessments, property inspections and the maintenance of relevant policies and records.About You

Previous experience in an administrative, office management or secretarial position. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. High level of attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general office systems.
