About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and efficient Administrative Officer to support operations in their Birmingham office. This role is vital for maintaining organizational efficiency, providing comprehensive administrative support across various departments, and ensuring seamless workflow management. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, from data management to coordinating schedules, contributing directly to the effective functioning of the team. The successful candidate will be adaptable, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be comfortable balancing office-based duties with remote work flexibility, aiming to foster a productive and harmonious working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to management and staff, including preparing correspondence and reports.
- Manage and maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring information is accurate and accessible.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including room bookings, catering, and preparing meeting materials.
- Process invoices, expense claims, and other financial documentation accurately.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing queries professionally.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, preparing necessary documentation and workspace arrangements.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or officer role is essential.
- Proficiency in standard office software, including document creation and data entry.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
